I’m so excited to share with you our newest thrift store find! This piece just screams mid century modern, with sleek yet eye catching lines. We found it at one of our local thrift stores and as we opened the top drawer to inspect the quality we immediately knew it was for us.

This Kent-Coffey stamp sealed the deal for us and we quickly brought it home. I have seen so many mid century pieces at my local thrift stores and while shopping online, but for some reason, the pieces from this company have always made me look twice.
This piece, from the Impact collection, with quality dove tailed drawers and amazing retro hardware is in great shape and will still shine in any space. In fact, I love the current look of this highboy so much, that I am debating on how to freshen it up. I really want to keep the original feel of this piece while also give it a crisp modern look. Right now, I’m envisioning a creamy white while keeping and enhancing some of the natural wood stain.

I can’t wait to share the ‘after’ pictures of this piece with all of you. At this point in my process I usually have a picture of how I want a piece to look, yet with this, I’m still not completely sure. Colors, stains and combinations are still mixing through my head. Any advice on how I should clean this dresser up? Would love to hear some ideas!
