Five Favorites for Friday

Posting our favorites a little early this week!  Enjoy and visit our shop today!

  1. Antique blue Dresser with Mirrorantique blue dresser dare to be vintageThis beautiful vintage dresser has been painted in an amazing custom mixed shade of blue.  I love the accents of dark wax, which really give it a rich feel.  This piece, although sold, was expertly refinished by DareToBeVintage in Peabody, Massachusetts. They offer a wide variety of vintage décor to fit any room in your home.

2.  Red Chest of Drawersred dresser girl updatedThis bright, cheery red dresser has been redesigned by GirlUpdated in Portland, Maine.  I love the original key holes in the top drawers of this piece as well as the chunky curved feet of this piece.  This shop has some beautiful available pieces – like this stunning gray empire dresser too.  She also takes custom orders, so stop by her shop for a beautiful uplift to an old piece.

3.  Antique Black Chest of Drawers with Mirrorblack antique dresser hayleon vintageThis sleek, black dresser is a show stopper!  I am in love with the mirror on this piece.  It’s so detailed and unique!  The beautiful original hardware looks brand new against the rich, black paint.  I can’t wait to paint my own pieces in this dark, bold color.  This beautiful dresser was redesigned at Hayleon Vintage in Austin, Texas.  It is sadly a part of their portfolio and already in a good home, however they have many other amazing vintage pieces waiting for a new family!

4.  Antique Painted and Stained Highboyantique painted and stained dresser trwpaintedTRWpainted in Ohio has been a consistent favorite of mine.  All of their furniture is expertly, yet also creatively, refinished.  I love the look of all of their pieces and this combination of stained wood with beautiful gray paint is at the top of my list.  Their pieces would shine in any room in your home.

5.  Midcentury Highboy – Here is another favorite color combo of mine.  I love the look of this bright white frame against the natural wood stain.  The simple hardware on the top drawer pops to give this piece a far from simple overall look.  This piece, redesigned by ExeterFieldstall mid century dresser exeter fields in Boston, Massachusetts is still available.  Their shop also custom builds some amazing campaign pieces that would look perfect in any home.

Speaking of this color combo, our white low dresser is still available in our shop.   Check it out today!
